I know that wedding event planning is all new for you, and I am hoping this page answers many of your questions. If you are looking for information that you don’t see here, feel free to email or call me.

Q: Where does your passion for wedding photography come from?
A: I am a woman and wedding is a fantasy that has its inception very early in life. To be a participant in the recording of sacred events is pretty exciting don’t you think?

Q: What is your style of photography?
A: There are two dimensions to style. One is a reflection of the craft and the other operational conduct. The style of the shoot has been forged in research. I interview couples and key family members and have them present to me images they collect from magazines, newspapers or the Web that they are moved by, impressed with or would like to somehow emulate. I am a guild level crafts-person that combines the technical photographic skills with eye for personal placement in balance and context attempting to fully capture the wishes of my clients. If I see something wonderful, that “1,000 words” picture, I am compelled as an artist to take the shot(s) and present that shot(s), but the mission of honoring the stylistic goals of the client is the mission. All of this is done in an unobtrusive fashion and part of style is the quality of interaction with guests. I am there to get the work done while never diminishing the joy or quality of the event.

Q: Where does your inspiration come from?
A: Weddings are moments of joy, fanfare, and emotion. They are always exciting, always beautiful and each and every wedding is a story I can help to tell. It is thrilling every time to translate all those feelings and life’s changes into images. I feel like a novelist except that my media is the collection of photographs I take. The idea of eliciting deep positive feelings silently and elegantly is what I want to do.

Q: Are you the one shooting our wedding?
A: Yes, if you book me to photograph your wedding, I will personally be your wedding photographer. I bring along an assistant whenever is needed. 2nd shooter is available at cost. You can view my (Agnes “Neusse”) works at www.NeussePhotography.com

No, if you book my associate photographer, Kim, to photograph your wedding day, then Kim will personally be your wedding day photographer. But, I will still be the editor, and album designer to ensure the final product is of high quality. You can view Kim’s works at www.ShutterGals.com/weddings

Q: How many photos will I get?
A: You receive unlimited number of images during the coverage of your big day. The number of photographs taken depends on many things – the number of family members, wedding party members, guests, and hours of coverage. For an 8-hour coverage, you will typically see about 500 images of your joyous event.

Q: When will I see my images and albums?
A: Within 4 weeks after the wedding day, you will receive an email with a link to your online gallery, as well as the Album Ordering Worksheet in your email to help you put together your album. Upon final approval of album designs most albums are ready for delivery within twelve weeks.

Q: What is the album design process?
A: As soon as you receive the Album Ordering Worksheet in the email, you have 8 weeks to select the images for your album. Once you choose your images, it takes about four weeks to produce your first designs for reviewing, and each round of changes generally takes two weeks to complete. If you don’t select your images within 8 weeks, we will make a first draft design for you. You will still get to review your album design for 2 weeks. 2 rounds of changes are included. Once you approve the designs, you have the option to come by the studio to choose your album cover style, color, imprinting, and other details. Then, you’ll sign off on the book and it will go to print. All of this process can be completed via emails and phones, simple and easy.

Q: What types of albums do you offer?
A: We offer both matted and flush-mount albums from the highest quality manufacturers in USA. It’s important that your album is both elegant and timeless so that you’ll be excited to show it to your friends now, as well as your children and grandchildren in the future. Q: Do you have insurance?
A: Yes!

Q: What camera do you use?
A: We use professional quality, Canon digital cameras, professional lenses and light systems.

Q: What if your camera breaks?
A: As professionals, we have backup equipments ready to go should anything happen to our main cameras.

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: I have been a committed photo-hobbyist since high school but officially hung a sign and began my professional wedding practice in 2004.

Q: How many weddings have you photographed?
A: We are careful here. We limit the number of weddings we shoot every year, because we want to really feel as if each wedding is the only event taking place on the planet each and every time. That is certainly how brides, grooms and families feel. I (Agnes) will personally photograph 20 weddings per year, and my associate (Kim) photographs 6 to 10 weddings per year. The only work we are interested in delivering is work that reflects excellence.

Q: Can you hold the date for me?
A: Yes, with the receipt of a signed agreement and a retainer, we will hold and block the date out for you. We accept bookings on a first-come-first-served basis.

Q: What is your payment schedule like?
A: A retainer of $1,000 is due to reserve your date. 50% of your balance is due 6 months before your event with the final amount due a week before the wedding day. If booking less than thirty days before the wedding the entire contract amount is due at the time of signing.

Q: How soon should we book you?
A: As soon as possible is preferred. If you believe that we are meant for each other, you should book as soon as possible. We are often book a year or more in advance for popular dates.

Q: We love your work, what is the next step?
A: If you live in or near Lehigh Valley area, the next step is to schedule a meeting with me so that we can get to know each other a little better. If you’re not in the area don’t fret because some of my clients book without an in-person meeting. Some are comfortable communicating entirely by email and others prefer a phone call. A signed Service Agreement and a retainer from you are required to reserve your date with Agnes.

Once you have decided on a package you like, we will email you a Service Agreement to execute. You will review the agreement, sign it and return it with the retainer fee to reserve the date. If you are paying by credit card, we will send you a link to take care of that online as well. We want to keep this process as simple and easy as possible, taking the worry out of booking your photographer.
